That's Meaghan with an "A" and an "H"
Meaghan Collins is a folk singer songwriter from a small town on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Starting life as a dancer, she eventually found music through her love of the theatre. In her journey, lyrics and poetry have consistently provided a map for navigating the tangled web of thoughts that her mind is constantly spinning.
Joni Mitchell once said "The most important thing is to write in your own blood." Taking that to heart, Meaghan's too-honest way of writing lyrics tends to draw from the moments of intense emotions, and her form of bear-all story telling has a tendency to take everyone down with it. She writes to understand herself and bring comfort those who can find themselves in the stories she's telling.

MEET MEAGHAN COLLINS

“As for her lyrics, Collins performs from the heart, as if she’s singing straight out of a diary entry. She says she didn’t begin writing through her music, but instead first wrote poetry as an emotional outlet while also forming a habit of writing letters that eventually came to greatly influence her music.”
